10 questions to ask a wedding videographer

Have you thought of hiring a wedding videographer for your Hawaii wedding but were hesitant because you didn't know whether or not you needed one?  This is your once in a lifetime day and although photos of your wedding is important they don't capture the emotion of your wedding day like video does.



But how do you know who to hire?  We've prepared 10 questions to ask a wedding videographer before hiring them:

  1. How many wedding videos do you tape in annually?
  2. What is your style?  Documentary or cinematic?
  3. What type of packages do you offer and what are your prices?
  4. Can you add in a photo montage?  If so, what is the cost?
  5. Does the package include titles for the video?  If not, can it be added and at what cost?
  6. How is overtime calculated?
  7. How much are additional copies of the cd?
  8. How long after the wedding does it take to receive the final product?
  9. Will you have an assistant or other videographer with you on the day of my wedding?
  10. Are you familiar with our ceremony and/or reception location?
