One of my specialties is large group photos. I have been doing them for twenty years but still get a rush every time I get up before a hundred people and have one chance to take a great photo of them all looking at the camera with a smile and eyes open!
The challenge to taking good large group photos is always how you get everyone in the photo so you can recognize their face. You either need the people to be on risers, stairs or a hill so that the rows behind each other are in clear view. Or you need to get the camera above the group looking down at them looking up. Here is a group of 75 members of the Trinet company standing on level ground at the Fairmont Orchid Hotel while I'm atop a twelve foot ladder shooting down.
